The Bonneville County Fairgrounds were purchased in 2017. The Fair Board acquired 50 acres of land due to the simple fact that we’d out grown the previous facility on Rollandet. We held our first successful 4-H Fair on the new property in 2019 after years of dedicated work raising funds and planning buildings for our new grounds and we aren’t done yet! In the future we’d like to build a playground, RV park, arboretum, more horse stalling and incorporate a watering system for our arenas.
The Bonneville County Fair provides educational avenues for youth and Bonneville County residents to acquire knowledge, develop life skills and form attitudes and relationships that will enable them to be contributing members of society.
The Bonneville County Fairgrounds is run by a board of volunteers appointed by the County Commissioners. The Fair Board works tirelessly to maintain and improve the Fairgrounds and have turned it into a real community hub. The facilities are utilized for all kinds of events and activities and it is rare to drive by and find the parking lots empty these days. We truly appreciate all the help the community offers to make these Fairgrounds one of the best around.
If you’d like to get involved we’d love your help!
